The testing of materials, from the testing of coatings and the effectiveness of that coating to protect the base metal, to the affects of a holiday in the coating, Environmental Hydrogen Testing looks for the susceptibility of your product to hydrogen in many ways. We can charge your product with hydrogen for a worst case scenario or test it in its open circuit potential to look for in-service results. Using rapid and inexpensive methods based on ASTM F1624, we can provide valid KISCC values in a few weeks using Charpy sized SEN(B) specimens.
